The Degree of Agency Tool (DoAT) (Fouché et al. 2022), is developed from the affect, and anthropomorphisation observations by the spectator. The purpose of the tool is to support the artist to determine and instill an Operated Performing Object (OPO) with interpretative character traits through agency.
